Heritage Harvest Festival at Monticello. My dad, the gardener, went with me last year, but this year he couldn't go so my mom graciously agreed to go along. We had a great time! The festival isn't just about gardening - there are a lot of speakers and exhibits for all sorts of other pursuits, like homesteading, fiber arts, woodworking, and natural body care. Some of it is a bit out of my realm - I'm not keeping chickens in the backyard at the moment - but all in all I find it very interesting and the people very friendly. I'm already looking forward to next year.
P.S. Shout out to Carpe Donut. Oh. My. Goodness. If they ever decide not to be a vendor at the festival I will be crushed.
