My family celebrates Christmas Eve with a "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake. (We even sing Happy Birthday.) It's a tradition that has been around as long as I can remember, and we've had the privilege now of sharing it with our extended family. The picture on the left is my family and I when I was a kid; the larger picture is me, my brother, our spouses, and firstborn children. Looking forward to enjoying this tradition again in a few weeks!

A few "retro" photos of my brother and me enjoying the Christmas trains that my grandfather put up every year. It was something we really looked forward to as kids. I can still smell the electrical "ozone" smell those trains would produce, hear the zap as the controls engaged, and remember how we never seemed to tire of watching them make their trip around the Christmas tree.
